September 2009: City of Nijmegen, oldest urban ruins in The Netherlands |
| Deep below the St Josephhof complex in Nijmegen lie the foundations of an old stone house to be found in the present-day The Netherlands. The house was built by members of the Batavia tribe around the time of Christ's birth. Wennekes Multimedia has been asked to devise a 'virtual audiovisual elevator', to enable the city's visitors and residents to experience first-hand these remarkable remains of the past. |

May 2009: The Roman past of the city of Nijmegen |
| Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands, is working hard to reveal its Roman past to residents and visitors alike. To this end Wennekes Multimedia is developing a virtual time machine, through which the public can enjoy a historical trip, to the Roman city of Noviomagus some 2000 years ago. At three different locations throughout Nijmegen visitors can step out of the present and return to interesting and lively daily scenes from the past. Thanks to this new 'sense of time and place', visitors will come away with an in-depth understanding of Nijmegen's long history. |

January 2009: a new year, a new identity |
| More and more Wennekes Multimedia is involved in concepts, strategies and development. Creative ideas and imagination become more and more the backbone of our activities. It is therefore that we will change our corporate identity in 2009. The new name will be Wennekes 'office for imagination'. |

March 2008: CORPUS 'journey through the human body' opens |
| Dutch Queen Beatrix will open CORPUS 'journey through the human body' on March 14, 2008. Creative director Léon Wennekes is involved in the Corpus project for more then 3 years. CORPUS is an initiative of Reco Productions International. Adjacent to the A44 highway in Leiden/Oegstgeest a 35 meters high giant human figure is build as a landmark. | In the year 2009 the city of Amersfoort exists 750 years. For this jubilee we developed an attraction for the inhabitants of Amersfoort and its visitors. The attraction is a multi media trip into the history of the city. |

| Thursday April 27, 2006 Wennekes Multimedia has won the golden award in the category multimedia for the production Escher revisited in VR valley 3D. February 2006: Corpus project |
| Creative director Léon Wennekes is involved in the Corpus project by Reco Productions International Ltd. in Wassenaar. Adjacent to the A44 highway in Leiden a giant human figure of 35 meters high will be build. As from 2007, visitors can experience a journey through this huge human body. November 2005: ProRail |
| For the Dutch Railway service provider ProRail, Wennekes Multimedia developed a concept concerning DVM (Dynamic Traffic Management). DVM provides tools for better planning and better traffic management thus improving the capacity of the railroad system. Based upon this concept Wennekes Multimedia developed an audio-visual presentation on DVD. ProRail uses this partly interactive tool to provide information for internal and external use. June 2005: A Pirates Adventure in The Arsenaal |
| Dutch singer Bennie Jolink shines once again in his role as Captain Blackbeard. In this successor to the popular motion ride Blackbeard's Revenge, the latest adventure pits the illustrious pirate in a computer-guided naval show against the Spanish galleon, the Almiranta. May 2005: 'Escher revisited in VR-valley', in 3D |
| The German theme park Minimundus Bodensee, features the completely updated motion ride Escher Revisited in VR-Valley. In this stereoscopic, three-dimensional world, visitors are treated to a ride through various impossible buildings designed by M.C. Escher. February 2005: Opening New Land Inheritance centre (Nieuw Land Erfgoedcentrum): 'Cornelis Lelys dream' |
| On Saturday
February 26th Medy van der Laan, the Dutch minister of state of Education,
Culture and Science, has officially opened the New Land Inheritance
centre in Lelystad. Wennekes Multimedia developed a theatrical high
definition multimedia experience for this entirely renewed museum.
Engineer Cornelis Lely, who laid the foundation of the Zuiderzee-works,
tells the story of the creation of the worlds largest polder, Flevoland.

April 2004: Dutch Comic Museum Groningen |
| At the
new Dutch Comic Museum Groningen, Wennekes Multimedia brings alive
the characters of 'Jan, Jans en de kinderen' of Jan Kruis, a well
known Dutch comic artist. In a vivid attraction the audience meets
a series of Dutch characters such as Paulus de Boskabouter, Storm,
Heer Bommel en Tom Poes, Franka, Eric de Noorman, Sjors en Sjimmie

June 2003: Development sports and recreation park Stadshagen municipal
Zwolle |
| From June
4 until the 27th the inhabitants of the municipal Zwolle have the
opportunity to choose the model of their preference from three models
of their new sports and recreation park Stadshagen. These models are
worked out by means of computer animation in combination with life
action video, presented on a large videoscreen, to provide a detailed
impression of the new park. Unique aspect of this project is that
they can vote via internet or give their personal vote on the spot
at a cubicle. The results will be used as an advice for the politicians
and will be used as starting point for the architect of the park.

November 16 2002: 'Escher in the Palace' |
| On November
16th the prime minister of the Netherlands, Jan Peter Balkenende,
opened a permanent exhibition of the work of Dutch artist M.C. Escher
in the royal palace Paleis Lange Voorhout in The Hague. Wennekes Multimedia
developed here its own program to provide ultra-modern access to Escher's
drawings and the artist's extraordinary internal world. Each of the
displays is educational as well as entertaining in nature, offering
innovative and penetrating insights into the work of this great artist.
This contemporary and emotional approach opens up a wide audience
to Escher's genius. More

March 28 2002: PandaDroom Efteling overwhelming success
|
|
On March 28 the 'Efteling', Kaatsheuvel has opened the new attraction 'PandaDroom'. This exiting and educational attraction that attracts many enthousiastic visitors is a result of a unique cooperation between the 'Efteling' and the WWF in the Netherlands. Wennekes Multimedia has been involved in this project since August 2000 on as well the concept as on the production of the educational part /room of the attraction, called the 'postshow'.
